This old telephone-line fitting was designed for connecting drop wires to bridle wires in a small weather-tight enclosure. It has an aluminum outer cover, ceramic terminal base, two heavy terminal posts, rubber wire-entry grommet, mounting bracket, and the little bead chain that keeps the cover from wandering off when opened. �

This piece is new old stock from an old supply of telephone and electronic service equipment. It shows only normal shelf and storage age. The original Reliable Electric Co. Chicago box is included and shows age and storage wear.
