Seth Thomas Hitt Electric Wall Clock Model E854-003 Red Mid Century For Sale

Manufactured in Thomaston, Connecticut by legendary American horologists Seth Thomas Clocks, this authentic vintage electric wall clock represents the classic "Hitt" model (Model No. E854-003, stamped 4809). Defined by its striking Streamline Moderne aesthetic, the clock features a vibrant red stepped-finned casing flanking a chrome-bezeled square dial with clean mid-century Arabic numerals, an inner graphic minute ring, black hands, a contrasting red sweep second hand, and a top power-interruption indicator dot. Operating on standard 110V AC power (60 Cy., 2 Watts) via its integrated two-prong electrical power cord and rear keyhole mounting bracket, this timepiece remains in attractive vintage condition displaying light honest age wear to the dial and casing alongside a functional bottom-mounted setting knob. It is a quintessential retro accent piece for 1940s–1950s kitchen decor, diner motifs, and vintage American clock collections.
