One-page typed letter on Laurence Olivier’s personal letterhead, dated 28 August 1986, sent from London to Jörg Bobmin (VIP Film, Munich, W. Germany). In the letter, Olivier apologizes for the delay in replying to an invitation to the Television Welfare Gala “Aid for AIDS” and explains that he will not be able to attend the event on 21 November as requested. He closes the letter with “My regards and admiration to Miss Elizabeth Taylor” and signs “Olivier” in blue ink at the bottom.
