The Airbus A320 is a member of the A318, A319, A321 family, and are narrow bodied airliners designed and produced by Airbus. The A320 was launched in March of 1984. It first flew on 22 February1987 and was introduced in 1988 by Air France. It could carry between 150-166 passengers and had a 3,700-mile range. A total of 1,480 of the models have been manufactured.
Northwest Airlines was a major United States airline that was founded in 1926. Northwest\'s home base was the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Northwest was merged with Delta Airlines and continued to operate under its own name and brand until the integration of the carriers was completed on January 31, 2010. Northwest had 69 A-320\'s in service. This aircraft is still in service with Delta Airlines.
This Airbus A320-211 with registration number N316US, first flew on 21 March 1991. It was delivered to Northwest on 04 June 1991. In October of 2008, this aircraft\'s livery was changed to Delta after the Northwest/Delta merger, and is still currently in service.
The solid resin model is a 1:200 scale, very detailed model with the latest, excellent Northwest graphics, and is completely assembled.The model is approximately 7.50\" long with a 6.75\" wingspan. It comes with a display stand. The box has minor storage wear. All sales are final. Shipping to the continental USA only.
