Vintage Breakfast Cheer DRIPCO Coffee one-pound tin from The Campbell & Woods Co., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This is a particularly attractive example featuring a strong, bright red finish that has retained excellent color and gives the tin outstanding display presence. Large cream-and-black “BREAKFAST CHEER COFFEE” lettering dominates the front, along with the classic DRIPCO – Fine Triple Ground logo.
Especially nice are the period coffee-making illustrations on the sides, including both the “DRIPCO on Percolator” and “DRIPCO on Coffee Pot” graphics. The tin also retains its original instructional panels explaining the vacuum-packed coffee and DRIPCO brewing method.
Condition: Nice vintage condition with very strong, vibrant red color and crisp, highly readable graphics. There is normal age-related wear including scattered small scratches, marks, edge wear and some wear around the factory seam. The lid shows light surface wear and oxidation, while the underside has considerably more staining and surface wear. No major crushing or large dents. Overall, the exterior presents extremely well for its age.
A beautiful display example with bold early advertising graphics and unusually appealing color. Excellent for a collection of vintage coffee tins, advertising tins, general-store memorabilia, Pittsburgh advertising, or early kitchen collectibles.
Packed with care.
