This authentic Margit Tevan (1901–1978) cigarette box features a stunning hand-hammered figural relief lid. Tevan’s work is highly prestigious; a similar box from the personal collection of Marilyn Monroe famously sold at sale for $10,000. This piece showcases her signature "archaic" style with a narrative frieze of Biblical/pastoral figures.
