Very Rare Vintage Montblanc 4 Size Octagonal Safety Propelling Fountain Pen #204 For Sale

Very Rare Early Vintage Montblanc 4 Size Octagonal Safety Propelling Fountain Pen #204Stamped On the BaseModel number 204 stamped on the base of the pen. This is a 4 size with a number 4 Montblanc nib.The pen is a safety propelling pen with rare octagonal design. The pen works by rotating the base to reveal the nib. The mechanism works but I\'ve not tested whether it holds ink or not. I assume it\'ll need some restoration if you plan on writing with it, but being an early and rare pen, assuming it\'s best retired into a collection somewhere. The pen is free from any splits or cracks and is overall in good condition though being made from black hard rubber, there is some minor oxidisation and marks from usage. The cap also has a personal engraving as shown.I\'ve left it as is, rather than trying to remove.Rare early pen
