A particularly interesting part of this lot is the separate folded commemorative pamphlet featuring Rev. Francis C. Roy, S.J., which is stapled to the booklet.It features a printed portrait of Rev. Roy and a printed message expressing his gratitude for contributions made to the Immaculate on the occasion of his seventy-fifth anniversary. The folded pamphlet also includes an alphabetical list of names relating to the contributions and specifically refers to agenerous $100 contribution that became the inspiration for the renovation of the Immaculate. The reverse contains a handwritten Christmas/New Year greeting dated1936, adding an especially interesting personal historical element.
