Vintage 1950s cardboard Christmas lanterns made in Germany, featuring charming lithographed scenes on translucent vellum-style paper. This pair includes one lantern with classic holiday motifs like Santa Claus, a snowman, a decorated Christmas tree, and a winter church scene, while the other depicts traditional German fairy tale illustrations including Hansel and Gretel. Designed to be illuminated from within, these lanterns create a warm, stained-glass effect when lit. The sturdy cardboard frames feature embossed textures and die-cut windows, showcasing mid-century European holiday craftsmanship.
