Up for sale is an original, uncut sheet of 10 perforated order stamps from Nelson Doubleday\'s \"Junior Deluxe Editions\" children\'s book club. These little illustrated stickers were used by club members to select and mail in their monthly book choices — a piece of genuine mid-century book club ephemera that\'s rarely found still intact as a full sheet.
Titles included on this sheet:
- Black Beauty
- Little Fairy Tales
- The Swiss Family Robinson
- Treasure Island
- Alice in Wonderland
- Hans Brinker (The Silver Skates)
- Robin Hood
Each stamp features a colorful illustrated scene from the book along with its title, in the classic style of the Junior Deluxe Editions covers many of us grew up with.
Condition:The sheet is uncut and unused — all 10 stamps are still joined along their perforated edges. There is a bend/crease near one corner (see photos). The gummed back is intact and unpeeled. A great uncommon find for Junior Deluxe Editions completists, ephemera collectors, or anyone who loves mid-century children\'s book nostalgia.
