Vintage promotional advertising pencil from Midway Industrial Electronics Inc., Rockville Centre, New York.
A very unusual advertising piece featuring a metal colored barrel with a novelty light bulb shaped piece on the end. The advertising reads in part:
“CALL MIE FOR ANY G.E. LAMP”

The opposite end shows the wood and graphite pencil core as pictured.
Nice piece of vintage industrial, electrical, lighting and advertising memorabilia. Would display especially well in a collection of vintage pencils, GE advertising, electrical trade advertising or unusual promotional items.
Condition:
Vintage used condition with age related wear. There are scratches, spots, discoloration, tarnish and other blemishes to the metal barrel. The light bulb shaped end also has some staining and surface wear. Advertising remains quite readable. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
