NEW IN ORIGINAL BOX - READ BOX WEAR
5-Piece Vanity Contents are Pristine / Original Box Shows Vintage Storage Wear
Add a touch of vintage mid-century elegance to your home with this stunning 1960s Mademoiselle Boutique 5-Piece Vanity Set by Acme Frame Products (afp). Crafted with intricate gold-tone mesh wire filigree, this set perfectly embodies the glamor of the Hollywood Regency era.
The set pieces are constructed from cast metal filigree finished in bright gilded gold-tone paint or high-gloss brass imitation plating.
They heavily employ intricate Rococo and Baroque scrolling patterns, faux-bamboo or leaf trim, and beveled mirror panels meant to catch vanity lighting.
What Makes This Set Special:
• Rare Find: It is incredibly difficult to find this
collection as a complete matching 5-piece set.
• Original Box Included: Comes with the rare
original retail packaging which provides
fantastic authenticity for collectors.
Included Pieces:
• Ornate Mirrored Vanity Tray
Glass/Mirror Components: The long rectangular
vanity tray mirror shows no silvering degradation
(no dark spots or clouding around the edges),
which is very common for 1960s mirrors
• Waste Basket - Hard Plastic Patterned Liner
The wastebasket features the original clear
pressed-pattern plastic liner, designed to
mimic elegant cut crystal. This is far more
desirable than the flat colored vinyl liners of the
era, as it catches the light beautifully.
• Soap Dish - Molded Glass Dish Insert
The scalloped clear glass insert on the metal-
footed soap dish is completely free of cracks or
chips.
• Decor Spray Can Cover
• Tissue Box Holder
The Filigree Metalwork: The gold plating is exceptionally bright with zero pitting, or "flea bites" (chipping). The intricate, lace-like patterned metal wrap on the wastebasket, spray canister, and tissue box looks flawless.
Condition Notes:
All pieces New Never Used.
• Contents: The gold-tone mesh pieces are in
beautiful shiny gold new vintage condition.
• The spray can cover has slight discoloration
• Original Box: The box is intact and holds the
pieces perfectly, showing authentic vintage.
