Vintage George & Ruth Name Meaning Keychain PairOverviewUp for sale is a rare, coordinated pair of vintage Eastfield name meaning keychains. These are not your standard modern reproductions; they are authentic 1 5/8\" square acrylic tags manufactured by Contenoa in Taiwan during the peak of the personalized souvenir era (1970s–1980s).This set features two classic names with their traditional etymological meanings set against bold, iconic graphics:GEORGE: \"Tiller of the soil\" (Greek origin) featuring the Texas blue-and-white license plate aesthetic with the Lone Star.RUTH: \"Proud Beauty\" (Hebrew origin) featuring a vibrant yellow-and-white sunburst design with a red star accent.Detailed SpecificationsManufacturer: Contenoa (Stamped \"Taiwan\" on reverse)Distributor: Eastfield Boutique SeriesDimensions: 1 5/8\" x 1 5/8\" (Exact Square Format)Material: High-grade vintage acrylic with metal split-ring hardwareTheme: Texas Lone Star / Name MeaningsCollector NotesThis specific 1 5/8\" square format is highly sought after by \"New-Old-Stock\" and vintage souvenir collectors. Unlike the common rectangular \"mini-plate\" keychains found today, the Eastfield square series is recognized for its thicker acrylic build and the distinctive serif typography used for the name meanings. The \"George\" tag is a quintessential example of the 1980s Texas souvenir aesthetic, complete with the era-appropriate Lone Star logo. Why Add This to Your Collection?Preserved History: These tags represent a specific era of \"impulse-buy\" Americana found in high-end mall boutiques and regional gift shops.Hard-to-Find Pair: Finding specific name pairings in this identical square format is increasingly difficult, as most were separated decades ago.Graphic Appeal: The \"George\" tag offers a perfect retro-Texana look, making it a cross-over collectible for those who hunt for Lone Star State memorabilia.
