Antique Wilbert Cutlery Co. Chicago “High Art” straight razor with yellow celluloid/faux ivory style scales. The blade has a visible “High Art” etching and the tang is marked Wilbert Cutlery Co. Chicago, making this a nice collectible piece for straight razor collectors, barber shop display, shaving memorabilia, or restoration projects.
This razor is in used antique condition and shows heavy age-related wear including tarnish, oxidation, staining, pitting, worn blade etching, and visible damage/chipping at the blade tip area. The handle/scales are intact and display well, with a classic yellow celluloid appearance. This has not been professionally cleaned, sharpened, honed, or tested for shaving use.
