$2,000 for now, doing research on this piece and it is way up there in value. Doing more research on it right now. The right person might see it and get it for a steal for now.
This is 100% authentic Indonesian Blue amber. It is $1.50 a gram which is 100% a reasonable and fair price. It can easily go up to $5 a gram, but i try to make things as affordable as possible.
This piece is 23 - 30 million years old. It comes from the Sinamar formation in west Kalimantan, Indonesia.
As seen in photos, you see the raw amber and the polished amber. It takes about 8 to 12 hours to make them like this.
This piece has some nice looking plant matter and the clarity in the sunlight is excellent. It has a lot of red, some yellow and some orange.
It will be hard for me to go down on the price due to the labor It takes to get raw amber to look like this. I am completely fine with waiting for the right buyer.
I have under sold in price before, which I'm completely okay with, but this is a very nice piece. Just look every photo and know that what is inside is a plant (or insect? I haven't checked) that was on this earth 23 to 30 million years ago!
