Up for sale is a Gearbox 12-inch Amoco Regular Lead-Free gas pump bank marked "Prototype SAMPLE." This piece came from the estate of a former ERTL/Gearbox executive and appears to be a genuine pre-production sample.

Unlike the standard production version, this prototype does not have the normal licensing/copyright markings on the bottom, further supporting its pre-production status.

Displays very well with light wear from age and handling.
Production versions of this blue Amoco pump are known, but this example differs by retaining the original Prototype SAMPLE sticker, the lead test placard, and the absence of the standard licensing markings found on retail examples.
